SALT MINE IN BOCHNIA

Bochnia – a town located in the southern part of Poland, in the Małopolskie Voivodship, on the Raba River. Bochnia is famous for its oldest hard rock salt mine in Poland, formerly used heavily, today it serves only as a place for tourists. You can visit the corridors located at 300 meters deep. On the tour, we can see multimedia presentations and stories related to the mine. In addition to the tourist and historical route, you can take advantage of a slightly more difficult tourist-geological tour, which leads through the oldest excavations of the mine. Due to the cleaner air produced here, in 1995 a spa was created to heal the upper respiratory tract.

We also offer accommodation if you want to spend time in Bochnia. It is interesting to note that even in the salt mine, there are even wells, weddings and other important events in the life of every person. It is also worth mentioning that the Salt Mine in Bochnia is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Visiting the Salt Mine in Bochnia, we will certainly spend our time and knowledge of the place. A visit to this place gives you incredible joy and interesting memories.
